How to access Secret Stash (Get Junior quest)?

I need to access the secret stash behind the wall and there are red clues detected in witcher sense in front of the wall which is highlighted (but not breakable by sign) and I cannot interact (examine) both the wall or the clues. Bug?!

I killed the dwarfs earlier in the game and without continuing with the quest did others, now back
to this quest. Bottom line is: too late to revert to a previous save as someone suggested.
Still to find this location again as it is no longer shown on the map and will try the torch method of opening the door.

Well - I have played this part an few day's ago (I'm on an replay and have patch 1.08 installed), and I could open that stash door without any problem. And yes - I busted in with those dwarfs and had an nice fight...

I think he extinguished it first for me as well. Just keep interacting with it at different angles, its the switch that opens the door.

I am now certain my game is bugged. Since I watched an online help video and the other person did exactly the same thing (interact with wall torch) and immediately the door opened. Whereas I have been interacting with it so many times but it just ignites/extinguishes and another thing is that Geralt doesn't say anything when using Witcher sense in front of the door for me. The other player's Geralt mentioned something.

I've done this 3 times. It's tricky but it's not bugged. The bug is in your mind.

If you have the dwarfs with you, you cannot access the stash. I suggest reloading and leaving them out of the arena area. Be aware that if you tell them to "Stay here" at the meeting place, within sight of the entrance, and you attack W*horeson Juniors henchmen at the entrance, they WILL join in and ruin your chances of getting the stash. Paying the guards or using Axii in the conversation to enter will not arouse the little fellows, then just kill all of Juniors men inside, no problems then.

In late May I was playing Ver 1.02 and the Get Junior quest got locked up in the arena with the dwarfs. It would not progress with them in the area for some reason. It may be fixed in later versions but I kept banging my head with many reloads and nothing worked. Searching, I found this answer and it worked like a charm.

I have just installed the 1.08 patch and the door opened the moment I lit the torch.

Hey guys im using v1.04 and theres a really quick fix to this, as soon as u enter the dungeon area kill all the regular W* guys n then hang back at the beginning of that area n stay out of sight of Igor and the shield guy and the others for a bit till Geralt puts away his sword. Let them stay where they are (at the end of that corridor just before the arena) and SAVE, then slip into the gate on the left side of the hall way n proceed to the hidden door, Geralt should act normally, say his dialog n all will be resolved. This worked for me as I had been struggling for hours unable to get him to say his stuff or interact with the torch. You can get Igor n tho other guys after u do this n nothing will happen, except you'll get some more gold ; )

You need to walk to the door with your witcher senses, Geralt will say something along the lines of "Scuff marks from something moving", you should then be able to "interact" with the torch correctly

I managed to open the door by lighting it up and then wait a bit and then fire it up again then it turned around. And opened the wall hope this helps :)

So walk a little bit away from the lamp, not right up to it! Then the switch activates instead of the ignite

Sorry for the three year necro but I found this thread as I couldn't figure it out either. The fix for me was to hit the E key while my Witcher Senses were enabled. This changed the text on the torch from "Extinguish" to "Interact"
