Quest "Count Reuven's Treasure" broken

***Spoilers to the quest that is broken for me, obviously***

So I've progressed "Count Reuven's Treasure" to the point of destroying the witch hunter outpost. The next available step in the quest is to talk to Dijkstra, only the waypoint for this is set right in the middle of one of the baths in the bathhouse (Not near where he actually is) and Dijkstra gives no dialogue options to progress the quest.

I worked on the "Get Junior" questline after I hit this block with the other quest, and when I got to the point where you need to talk to Dijkstra about your findings, the dialogue still showed up fine for it.

I looked up a walkthrough, and it says I was supposed to have a scene with him shortly after exiting the outpost, but this never happened and the waypoint for the quest never pointed to anything like that.



I'll try reloading a save from before I did the witch hunter outpost soon to see if I can avoid the bug, but thought I'd point it out on here.

I have almost the same problem. Reuven leads u to his undergrounds and ask u to find out who took his treasure, after he gave u the mission, he goes back upstair to his office. Apparently, if u don't do the quest as soon as he gives it to u (what i did), u will be blocked at your return, because the secret entry he opened to lead u there will be close. So, the quest mark leads u to the bath, because this is where a tunnel is supposed to be. And, ofc, Reuven gives u no dialogue option or anything to open it again. Seems a dead end quest, and i really hope we won't get blocked because of it.

Strangely, as i was doing the Little Bastard's quests, Geralt found out by himself who did the heist, as if i had done the quest already.

In Get Junior quest, I cannot open the hidden wall door by activating the wall torch and Geralt does not say anything when infront of door using Witcher sense and cannot examine anything. Also i have not talked to Djistra after I exit the bath (quit game did not follow him to secret passage in bath). Is it because of this that the game has become glitched and i cannot open underground secret stash door at Get Junior quest?

So after redoing the quest, I've discovered what caused it to break for me. It's quite easy to do and the result of a flaw in the level design, so I am surprised that no one besides me has brought it up on here.

When you progress "Count Reuven's Treasure" to the point that you are leaving the Witch Hunter Outpost. The game expects you to get out by blowing a hole in a wall with Aard, immediately after which there will be a scene that is required to complete the quest. The problem is that you can easily escape the outpost by climbing over the walls, which results in you not getting the scene and thus breaking one of the main quests.

Can't expect them to change the actual map to fix this flaw in design, but at the very least they could add an invisible wall to the other routes of escape to prevent people from breaking their game.

I've done "Get Junior" twice now and struggled with the torch both times. You just have to angle it right and keep trying and he will eventually activate the switch rather than extinguishing the fire.

Which angle? I tried all angles I think 100+ times already.

Did your Geralt say anything when using witcher sense infront of the door or markings? Mine doesn'.t

Have you tried doing it without ingi selected as your sign at the time? I think I had to switch signs when I tried it.

Don't work for me , just walked everywhere at the pos. you show and nothing happen . i'm a bit disapointed at the moment :(

Guess it was just a random encounter then. Just play on, must be a selfsolving issue I assume. I did a bunch of quests, it might trigger when you reach a certain level or something.

I told myself I'd just do sidequests until a fix came out. Sorry I couldnt help.

For the next steps of the quest you need to destroy a wall after or before you get out of that outpost with Aard to trigger a cut scene with Dijkstra. If you are blocked in the baths its because you didnt do that. Get back at witch hunters outpost and ♥♥♥♥ dat wall !
