Witcher 3 vs. Skyrim

reading some people claiming Witcher 3 is better than Skyrim, made me mention my thoughts about it as well.
so far i enjoyed Witcher 3 - the first game i found to be addictive for me since Castlevania LoS 2. recently almost every game i purchase or try to play make me feel boring in the fisrt 10 minutes of gameplay. even DA: I could not entertain me enough to keep playing it.
I was hyped about Witcher 3 when it was announced and offered for pre-order roughly a year ago.
but, as much as i have been enjoying it so far, its nothing like Skyrim.
firstly, Witcher 3 is not a true Role Playing Game, you can not create your own character, its all Geralt.
secondly, Skyrim had its unique atmosphere, an ancient story with relative dialogues, while Witcher 3 uses more modern dialogues. How on earth we could know the meaning of "arrow to the knee" if it was not for the Skyrim?!
in Witcher 3 im collecting God-knows-what herbs from all over the place, and i dont even know if i have a use for them. giving the regen nature of swallows, i doubt if the alchemy is anything as cool and as effective (and off course as vast) as the Skyrim. Breathe under water potions, walk on the water potions, 50% fortify potions, God, alchemy was crazy in Skyrim.
in Skyrim you had factions, sects and clans to join, something which is missing in Witcher 3.
again, an essential factor of RPGs which is non existent in Witcher 3 is a full development of your character, you can not choose to be a mage, or a necromancer, or a warrior, you are what you are, a witcher which is kinda everything with less depth.
Crafting was a major thing in Skyrim, i have never seen it in any other game such as Two Worlds: 2 and Witcher 3. you could enchant your stuff too, like adding fire and lightening effects to your dagger! wow that a ♥♥♥♥ in Skyrim!
Skyrim had other factors of RPGs too, like dungeons, loots, properties to own, unique items with specific history and more.
i like combat in Witcher 3, but i liked the Skyrim combat more, it is like an offline version of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare!
you could steal in Skyrim, you could execute enemies from behind using stealth, you could raise an undead army of your fallen foes.
fantasy history of Elder Scrolls is much bigger than many other similar titles, it may even be comparable to the Lord of the Rings. you had deities, gods and their hard core followers.
story in Skyrim imo is much darker than Witcher 3, though i have not progressed that far in the latter, so my argument may not be valid there. but receiving a contract from the assassins' sect to murder a poor ♥♥♥♥♥♥ who mourns the death of his sister on a river bank is way cruel man, way cruel!
i had my moral challenged there, but i did it anyway, and it still shocks me to this day.
i may add, Skyrim could be scary at some points, specially when you are new to the game and even fighting a simple bandit could be much of a challenge, and then a dragon appears while there is a giant chasing you because you annoyed his mammoth...

TL:DR;
Witcher 3, whilst being a very very interesting and fun action adventure game with elements from RPGs, is not anywhere close to the scale of Elder Scrolls series, especially Skyrim.
Skyrim was in production for 6 years, Witcher 3 at best was in development for 3 years.
stop throwing hatred towards Skyrim, Skyrim > Witcher 3 in any way imaginable.
I do not care if Witcher 3's world (which is not a united world, its like divided by 4 sectors) is bigger than Skyrim. Skyrim was a unique experience, and if you think Witcher 3 is very unique you would be better try to play Two Worlds: Two and see for yourself.

p.s. where are all my frames per seconds gone? Witcher 3 has some serious issues.

Skyrim has very little story and the depth of a teaspoon. One of the most civil of wars in the history of time with whatever side the player opts to fight against having no interest in counter attacking. The ability to kill an emperor without any comeback. From novice to master of mages guild in 5 simple spells. Biggest impact is less random chatter about sweetrolls.

It's also not the best out of the elder scrolls series, not the worst as that dishonour would be ESO.

To be anything close to the marvel some people believe it to be you have to use umpteen mods. Much like minecraft in that way.

It is however not character driven unlike the witcher so comparisons arent going to be balanced. Skyrim might have better ranged combat or spell slinging but again thats not part of the story and character of geralt.

The witcher 3 is overall a better game but i still prefer to wander aimlessly in Skyrim than in the witcher world. Bethesda are the best at creating an RPG open world. Pick a direction and just go, you will find adventure ;)

I have days that I enjoy Skyrim more than the Witcher 3, then I have days that I enjoy The Witcher 3 more than Skyrim.

W3 simply due to story. W3 I have grown to care about the NPCs and what happens.

Skyrim was more like a good sandbox RPG technical demonstrator in need of some soul.

The witcher 2 and skyrim came out the same year. You can't really compare the witcher 3 with skyrim, that came out 4 years later, and expect it to be worst.
Do you really expect tes 6, that will come out next year or the year after if fallout 4 comes first, to be worst than skyrim?

If skyrim was only 2 years old why not, but in this instance it was developed with the old gen console in mind too.

lmfao defiantely not better in every way...Skyrim may do things better but 2 or 3 deer / wolves in mini packs wtf is that ? not realistic is what that is...herds of 8-10 deer/wolves like in the W3 is way better. so for you to say better in everyway just labels u a tryhard troll ♥♥♥♥♥
