система: Windows 10, Ведьмак 3 из Steam не запускается

У меня не сработало (ну у других может быть сработает)
1. Проверить кэш установленной игры
2. Снести игру и скачать заново
4. Переустановить Visual C++ для Visual Studio (https://www.microsoft.com/ru-ru/download/confirmation.aspx?id=30679)
5. Найти экзешник и запустить его руками (игра хотя бы выдала ошибку, что ей не хватает vcomp110.dll)
6. Найти в папке \Windows\SysWOW64\ нужные файлы (vcomp110.dll и msvcp100.dll) и скопировать в \Windows\System32\ (второй там был, да и вообще это опасная процедура, но игра файлы скушала и выдала новую ошибку: 0xc000007b)

Не пробовал:
1. Скачать файлы по ссылке в теме и установить (даже не пробовал, опасно)

Помогло:
1. Найти \Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\The Witcher 3\_CommonRedist\
и переустановить DirectX и Visual C++ прямо из папки игры.

DUDE THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!! I thought I would have to delete and reinstall which would take a week with my crappy internet!!!!!! I seriously tried a dozen different fixes and I was getting EXTREMELY frustrated!!!!!!!! AGAIN, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Хоспади чувак спасибо тебе огромное. Я и так и сяк уже пробовал, поставил 10 разных версий С++ и этого ДиретИкса. Но помогла только твоя подсказка с переустановкой этих прог в архивах самой игры.Теперь можно спокойно продолжить играть в этот шедевар.

dude, install Vcredist 2012, only 2012 (fixed this problem)

If you have Steam version, the MS Visual C++ redist files are in this folder:

Steam\steamapps\common\The Witcher 3\_CommonRedist\vcredist

Hey, a friend had this problem and he had the GOG version, so he did not have a seperate folder with all the Visual C++ redist files.

You basically have to google VCRedist 2012, and install both x64 and x86 versions from the official microsoft.com website.
