Horse Controls

Guys i'm struggling with this.I'm trying to do the horse races but my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ horse stops by itself,it's nothing to do with the stamina,it even stops with full stamina.

I am raging right now because the stuped horse keeps stopping.I would have no problem winning if my horse didn't stop or slowdown against my will.

yeah and I also have difficulty navigating the horse, it just keeps changing the direction . I closed the automatic finishers in game but it still happens, any ideas ?

It has nothing to do with automatic finishers,it is for the combat.They should fix this with a patch.

I am pretty annoyed about this. For example, when I try to turn right, the horse just ignores me and keeps following the road, and when I force him further to turn, he just stops and I have to make him run again :/

A new patch just came in.But they didn't mention any horse fixes.

If you only hold "Shift" the horse automatically follows the road (an can bump into things that slows it down). If you use "Shift+W" you can steer the horse with the mouse (double-tap Shift to sprint), but you have to keep "W" pressed to be able to steer. If you bump into anything the horse slows down or stops.

Well - that's how it works for me, but there might be something strange going wrong here and there.

I'm using an xbox controller,my horse stops at flattest grounds.

I'm also using an Xbox controller and have no problems with the horse at all, no slowdowns or random stopping or trouble steering. Sucks for yall.
