quest "Wild at Heart" tip for infinite heal werewolf
people are saying just kill it fast before it heals bla bla~ these people don't ****ing understand that if u fail to kill it when its low hp (cause of dealing with wolves or healing, w/e) and it heals up good amount, its ****ing impossible to kill it because ♥♥♥♥ heals much faster than the dmg at that level. yea use bombs do w/e cost so much for that one ww. might as well just restart it from other save and just kill that thing fast or dont even touch it untill u r done with other wolves and handle it fast 1v1.

when u first start fight it wont regen health. just re start it

Hey, man. I'll just redirect you to another thread: http://steamcommunity.com/app/292030/discussions/0/613958868353596800/

They're discussing the same problem here. I just came here to know about this too, the regen is ridiculous.

If that's what I'm thinking it is, it is a lv7 quest mate.
Wait until you explored White Orchard completely (for loot and skill points) before you tackle it.

It took me about 15 tries to kill it. I found the way to beat it is to dodge behind it and then hit it a couple times (strikes from behind do increased damage), then hit it with fire, pop your potions and just keep laying into it until it gets low on health, using igni every time its up.

When it gets to ~10% health you'll get a cutscene.
If you choose the option to let the werewolf kill Hanna, you can avoid fighting it again. It will show up a second later and ask you to kill it. If you don't let it kill Hanna, you'll have to fight it again, and it will start regenning health like crazy.

Equip thunderbolt and swallow. Use quen until you take down the wolves, then use axii to get a few hits in, evade his hits, then reapply axii. Thunderbolt will overcome his regen. I beat him on the hardest difficulty using this method. Surviving the initial brawl when he has wolves is the hardest part. Get past that and its just a matter of timing. If you have it, make sure to pop blizzard as often as you can without poisoning yourself. If you have that potion that removes all toxicity, use that when you're near 100%.

I used a hybrid blade oil, dunno how much of a difference it makes but I didn't have any trouble with it.

just the thing is if the health regen starts and u cudnt get to the cut scene cuz it healed up over half hp almost full, its better to just restart the quest from finding the clues in the forest. its just wayy too hard for you to kill it from full hp with that much regen. regen only starts once the werewolf reaches about 30% health. then u just spam all u got to bring him down to like 10% and u go to the cutscene

This quest was bugged for me. Rested inside the cave for nightfall and the wherewolf came in with the regen skill active from start without glowing faint red. Managed to take him down in about 8 tries, spamming Quen and just hammering light attacks.

Sorry bro, you'll just gonna have to lvl up with something else (main quests, other side quests) get better gear, preferably come back later.

USE AXII !!!!! CLOSE THE GAME AND OPEN IT AGAIN!!!
I used Axii (the mind control one) and it reset their healing, then I could slaughter them.
I also saved the game, then exited the whole game, then loaded the game.

It worked for me for the werewolf, and some Abgoul thing

I am level 10, and can't kill this damn wwolf lol he keep running away and regenerating. Gonna try both axii and iryrden methods now.
Axii for the stun and get close to the werewolf, i think Ydern is less useful when fighting with material enemy. Remember preparing, Mana Potion (very Usefull when you fight with boss). If you have Poison Rune or Bleeding Rune, use it now. The Werewolf always healing himself, so my only solution is keep attacking it. When you see him healing just Axii then hack and slash then dodge away and keep doing that until he die, one more thing, Try Igni too, very useful when fighting enemy has "fur", it's also reduce amount of health he regenerate.

Yeah I spent ages looking for the moondust grenade. I just died again but think it's the lowest ive had him. I'm not sure the grenades stopped him healing at all or maybe they did but for not very long. Think I'll save them for the end of the fight if possible. Thanks for the help, will try axii more this time

Have you tried bleeding bolts? I recall inflicting bleeding effect on werewolves in order to stop regen.
