Gven'nel Silver Sword diagram missing

It's not showing up in my inventory, it's supposed to be craftable from the start of the game, but there is a level requirement to use it. I don't have the crafting diagram in my crafting inventory, has anyone else run into this? I'm level 3 on the cusp of breaking into level 4 and am collecting crafting mats like crazy for weapons and armour and I'm still in White Orchard ...

I found it in "unknown place" (question marks on the map) at starting location.

So it's a random spawn drop then, ok thanks avil! Been clearing those out before I tackle the Griffin, excellent something to look forward to then lol!

Yeah I found it somewhere too. I definitely didn't start with it.

You can find it in bandit camp near Burned Village, just walk west and find the way to the top of those ruins

I found the Serpentine Sword diagram there, didn't find Gven'nel's diagram though, all unknown areas are now known and still haven't found it ... Damn!

Imo only the witcher gear is worth worrying about. serpitne swords early, then griffin set cat set etc.

Thnx for the hints and tips Bigby, found Diagram though in Velen the Blacksmith sells it. In the town Blackbough (left side in the middle of the map) "accidentally"
