Cursed Oil for werewolves.

really? cursed oil? i came to post the exact same thread as OP so i'm curious too. I was thinking beast oil if anything but i guess cursed oil makes sense too.

No it's cursed oil and it tells you that in the Bestiary for werewolf.

Also did you not listen to the dialogue for the quest with the werewolf? For me the quest with the hunter was the first time I encountered a werewolf and they say several times during the conversation that Lycanthropy is a curse, so cursed oil is not a big leap.

yeah i was looking at that one but i wasn't sure, I though maybe something related to beast could be as well

The biggest clue for me was that the Cursed Oil recipe required wolfsbane. ;)

I am stuck on this mission, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ werewolf keeps regenerating health faster than i can deal damage, even with cursed oil applied to my silver sword, how do I do this?
Seleck May 21, 2015 @ 7:59am
what level are u?
Anticitizen 1 May 21, 2015 @ 8:06am
Level 4, do you I need to level up a bit and invest in better equipment? Any skills you would recommend?

yeah get lvl 6 or at least find a better silver sword, then oil and quen, igni if you are good at dodging, use strong attacks jump back let the werewolf attack and then strike again when he is close to the last bar keep the pressure the fight ends at about 80% of the last bar. that's what i did and it worked fine.

just came across a blacksmith close to the town of lindenvale that sells lvl 5 silver swords for about 280 coins and do about 120-150 damage, that should be good enough for doing that mission
