Horse riding sucks.
Point 1, If your horse goes over a small bridge (Example Kaer Morhen's bridge) your horse stops as If It was hit by a brick wall.

Point 2, If there is a small rock here or there your horse just stops in his tracks. Really frustrating If your horse racing and that happens then you lose and have to do It again.

If anyone else has any other problems with horses let me know.

Can completely agree, also swimming under water seems way to difficult at times it's obnoxious, still love the game nonetheless

I am not gonna pretend to know how horse back riding is like but I can imagine you can spook a horse easily in real life if you force it thru narrow bridge or see an obstacle or hazard ahead lol

controls under water are iffy at best when in enclosed areas I.E. inside the hull of a sunken ship

You must not have played Dragon Age Inquisition. This game has the best horse riding since Red Dead Redemption.

The riding feels pretty good when you're on a main road. Stray from the path at all, and you're going to be colliding and coming to a full stop over and over and over. I just walk most places, then use fast travel from the travel posts. Lots to see and loot, anyhow.

This is true, but at times the riding seems I guess, "odder than usual"

Mount and Blade horses are the best!

at least it's not as bad dragon age inquisition's horse riding.

I've got a great problem with my witcher 3. I played and everything was all right, but after completing some missions, i just can't climb on a horse. There was "Press E button to ride a horse", but now there is nothing. So now i have to travel on my feet. Is it possible to fix that?

It's not a problem. It is realism. No horse in his right mind will willingly jump over a cliff knowing it will get hurt or die even if it has a rider.

i agree horseback riding and fighting on this game is just ridiculous, let's just take 1 swing every 10 secs ya that always helps, then when i swing it never hits no matter how close iam always seems to swing overhead, then ofc getting blocked by everything, is it hard to have the horse move around stuff like in other games? same with on foot as well. i think it's funny. he conquers massive demons, get the ladies,do some cool stuff with magic but can't pull himself up a hill that he can clearly reach up and pull himself up, ♥♥♥♥ most of the time i can almost jump it, but noooo i have to run almost 3 min to find an area to get out,

Why would we want realism in that regard? It's not like the game is trying to be realistic.

The horse is buggy, there's no denying that. It's bearable, but I wish it was improved.

Damn lets look at this...

Horses suck because...

You don't have the brain cells to dodge rocks, walk over middle of bridges or know when to swing a sword?

Picnics.
