Harvest plants
I know you need to harvest plants to make the potions and then when you meditate the potions fill up, but I don't believe it uses the plant bits collected.

Question I have is there any point in collecting every plant you see - and I see a lot, or should I just collect ones I've not seen before so I can create the unknown potions ???

when you look at the alchemy tab it will list the plants you need and i dont think you can create unknown potions anymore atleast not that i know off. and i think thats becouse you can litterly get the best potions just by finding the right pants.

looks like only uses alchole to create potions so past initial creation no... no really isn't i intend to sell most of my herbs for this reason again... they destroyed very point of alchemy... and the draw to it.

No they just removed the need to harvest every occurrence of every plant. I like it this way.

Yeah, having to stop at every bush kind of sucks. I'm glad I don't have to any more.

some alchemy requires more than a single specimen of a given plant, so you cant just pick one and be done with it. The more powerful the recipe the greater quantity of each leaf is needed, some recipes have common ingredients too.

Better to have the mats and not need them, than to need them and not have them.

thanks all for the replies. much appreciated. I'm can only play a few hours a day at this week as I have work so not had time to play around with it. Good to know I don't need to harvest every single plant, that does get a bit much.
