NPC/enemy 'labels' - can I remove them?
Don't know if this already discussed, but is there a way to remove the name labels floating over everyone as well as those talk bubbles? It clutters the screen and I know a hen is a hen!

It's almost as if they left debug data on by accident. I've been looking for a solution to this too. I've got a thread here but no help so far : http://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/220192/disable-name-tags

I actually can't understand why more people aren't making a fuss over this. You have a beautiful immersive scene, then the word 'hare' appears even if you can't see it behind a bush. What is really annoying is the large speech bubbles and labels for NPCs such as children and peasants when there is usually no point even interacting as they say nothing worth hearing. These labels and interact prompts should only be there for quest givers etc. Driving me so crazy, I might give game a break until a mod appears (i hope)

I'm seriously also leaning towards a break until they fix this, and yes, I'm surprised more people haven't complained (when I first Googled it I found nothing).

Another super annoying UI element are the buff icons. Why aren't they tucked away beneath the health bar. Right now they're floating pretty much in the middle of the screen. Looks absolutely ridiculous.

Yeah, those popups are constantly ruining my screenshots!

I wish they only appeared when you're close enough to the NPC.

In patch 1.05 there's now a new option; "NPC Names" which removes them :D Unfortunately the "Talk" text and icon are still there above every NPC you can talk to (which is pretty much every person in the game). Wish they could be switched off too, and only show up when you're close enough to actually talk (when icon goes from grayish to green and a button promt appears).

Labels was one of the first things that stood out to me when first playing. They look horrible and resemble something from an early 2000 MMORPG.

I like the labels because it's a big hint at who is actually important.
