Unlootable objects
I admit this is a rather trivial gripe, but sometimes even trivial things can be very annoying.

I have run across numerous objects that highlight in Witcher Sense as lootable or activateable objects, but I am unable to do so. In White Orchard, there are at least two horses impaled on the spiked barricade that light up, but no matter what angle or distance or anything, I cannot loot them or activate them. No sign causes a reaction, nor a sword or crossbow bolt or bomb.

I have run across a few objects in houses that cannot be looted for whatever reason (why is a candle taking queue priority in my interaction options anyway?). It's not a matter of being on a quest, as those tend to light up red, or don't light up at all unless you're on that quest step. They just get no option to interact but taunt you with their glow.

While this is trivial, it is also annoying. People with Gamer OCD will understand.

I hope this will be fixed. If not... argh.

Boy oh boy, do I understand. It is the most annoying thing in the game to me....

CDPR spent years making the best game of the century and you are whining about a broken rake or piece of raw meat you cannot pick up? Come on, get over it.
I am grateful for over 250 hours of enjoyment it gave me.

My sarcasmometer just got broken.

As for topic, that is necro bumped, I'm sure every glowing "container" object here is lootable, you just have to screw with positioning and camera angle a little bit.

I have to assume you're not serious. But, on the crazy chance you are, allow me to congratulate you on embracing mediocrity.

Making a thread for that is just lol. End of discuss.
Ah, now I see where the insult from you comes from. You don't care about the issue so anyone that does is "overreadting". Mediocrity, it's what's for dinner.

There's a chest inside a warehouse on an unreachable (I think) platform in the dockyard-area in Novigrad that's been driving me nuts... probably only a banana in there though. lol

The problem is when an unlootable item breaks a quest (i.e. The Price of Honor; Wolf Gear treasure hunt in the watchtower next to Kaer Morhen).

No big deal though.

Maybe the developers just placed it there to see if they can drive obsessive looters insane..
It looks to me just that kind of practical joke every developper just must do once in a while to keep themselves sane... ;-).

Then they did a fine job!

While I couldn't reach it I had fun coming up with solutions [that failed]. There's two more hanging platforms nearby that swing on ropes. Using Aard makes them swing violently and *almost* close enough to jump on to...so, yes, I did that for about 4 to 5 hours. =)

EDIT: It's the warehouse just west of the signpost http://witcher3map.com/v/#6/69.334/-55.580

Duncan, man, I wish that were true for me... I back up, get a little distance, get the same angle that loots other stuff, and don't always get the stuff. You can get close enough to lick the container, even wipe your wee wee on it but cant loot it!!!

So, any tips for us OCD people? :D

Before I even looked at the map that you linked a few posts down, I knew EXACTLY which chest you meant. There's another chest in that same warehouse that you have to "glitch" your jump just right to get on the shelf. But I know the one you're referring to. It is unobtainable as there is no way to reach it.

The game overall is good. But little details like this are what make me burn out on a game. And the movement... I keep trying to work up the desire to play some more, but every time I get close to hitting Play in Steam, I remember "Do I really feel like fighting the controls to get Geralt to go where I want him to?"
