Total Play Time Inaccurate?
In Player Stats (in Witcher 3 character panel) it shows my total playtime as 20 hours, but my Steam account shows 12.5 hours?!

If you not online in steam it won't count your hours, the game will.

I am always online in Steam when I launch Witcher 3.

So why is my ingame play time different from Steam play time?

YES! This is happening to me to. I've been playing for 8 hours and it only shows 51 min =(. It doesn't register the achievements either...

I think that timer counts in-game time, not player time spent in the game.

No. My ingame timer now shows 30+ hours although my Steam time is half of that.

It's definitely out of whack. It says I have 5 days and 21 hours played, while Steam says I'm at 91 hours. That's a pretty huge discrepancy, and no way it's just Steam being offline as I'm almost never offline, especially when I've been playing as I'm usually talking in IM.

I believe it counts how long the .exe. is running.

No Mine is way too much...Mine shows 440h on steam but there is no ways I have played the wither 3 that long?? No ways!

I also have this issue with many other games on Steam. Some games I only played for 1 hour and uninstalled but the timer says 12 hours.

My ex-friend who has this game on GOG claimed he finished the game in 20 hours, lol.
I guess CDPR has different understanding of time than the rest of the world, or it's simply broken. :)
