yeah but i read on some sites that 7850 should run fine on lower settings, just couldn't verify the source of that statement.
Can we confirm it? No. The game isn't out yet.
No you didn't.
Nice try though.
Read it on the internet. Must be legit!
i am sorry but i won't be that stupid to invest money in new hardware just for ONE game lol.
yes i read it on gamefaqs and another website, funny how you know what i did and did not read. i said that i couldn't verify the source so i ask here personally, learn to read mate before annoying others with pointless posts. seriously!
if it runs on my current system i might get it, if not then i'll pass and maybe buy it in a cople of years.
rpg games i still have not FINISHED:
- skyrim (were at 20%)
- witcher 2 (still 1st act)
- fallout new vegas (were at 66%)
- pillars of eternity (still 1st act)
- wasteland 2 (after finishing off one of the first main quest areas, so about 10% maybe)
- divinity OS (early 2nd map)
etc.
getting witcher 3 aka better version of gothic 3 (open world, good graphics, mature setting, etc.) would be nice but i will most certainly NOT pay over 250€ (inkl. game) to get to the point of playing this game.
only game i every paid about 180€ (over 2 years with expansion packs) was distant worlds universe and i won't do it again for another game.
..."rpg games"...i also love to play 4x games and moba (smite)...so i am good...if i could run it on decent settings then this game would definitely hold me...but i find the system specs kinda insane. yes sure on ultra settings its nice to have a game for the high end pc gamers, but whats the point of having such a narrow system spec? couldn't they downgrade it enough or optimize the game enough? it smells kinda fishy and i highly doubt that the 5% powergamers will be enough to provide the huge success this game could become. sad but true.
System requirements are regularly a load of ♥♥♥♥. Shadow of Mordor had high requirements like this game, but plenty of folks ran it just fine even though they were way, way under minimum.
It's probably fine. You'll have to run it with most settings in medium or low, probably.
I played through Shadow of Mordor and Dragon Age Inquisition (which have similar requirements to this game) on a 1GB 5850. It was fine, even got it running around 50 to 60fps. Texture, models, and shadows on medium, turned down anti-aliasing to just 2x, turned off all optional features (like tesselation, SSAO, etc)
It worked. If I can do it with a 5850, you should be fine with a 7850.
- AMD Radeon HD 7850 (2GB) Overclocked to the max allowed by the driver except for ram.
- 8GB DDR3 @1600mhz
- win8.1 64
Runs fine at 1080P 30fps with textures on high and some other settings even on high as well, you just need to experiment.
I finished it once, and now restarting it again.
