Ray tracing no longer works with intel Arc GPU's
Every thing is grayed out even if you select the preset. It worked fine before the update.

I can second this. I was pleased with the improved performance at first just to notice that it's because raytracing is gone now...this sucks.

Yep, same for me

Same here.

It's like when people complain games are lagging, so instead of fixing it the devs just make it look worse. Pure laziness.

or heres a hot take arc sucks at ray tracing so they disabled it because arc drivers suck for RAY TRACING

That's BS. It worked great and performance was totally fine as well. I played it for 20 hours with RT on ARC without any problems. Then they disabled it for no obvious reason.

By 'totally fine' what fps and settings were you running, as I somehow doubt either were what most would call fine, decent or high give the limited power of the cards.

Don't know and didn't care about the fps. I played in WHQD on high and it ran fine to me. The A770 usually has better RT performance than the 6700XT, so disabling this feature based on performance alone should result in it being disabled on all but NVidias latest and greatest, which cleary isn't the case. The config file explicitly disables it for Intel based GPUs with the lattest update. You can remove the entry and enable it again, but in-game, it still doesn't work so something in the actual code prevents it from working.

Having better RT performance than the AMD offering is not exactly difficult though.

I agree it seems odd, but, again, I am guessing the performance was dreadful.

I get playable fps with most everything maxed. Low fps, like 35-40, but playable.

The pop ins though make this unplayable for me. You turn the mouse and half the shadows disappear. Super annoying.
