Did the update bug/scrap missions involving Triss?

So apparently I cant romance Triss anymore. Can't trigger the mission where I help her and the other mages escape Novigrad. I tried reinstalling the game, create a new game, nothing worked. Is anyone else having this problem?

Did you complete The Play's The Thing mission? That leads to A Matter of Life and Death mission where you go to a masquerade ball with Triss. If you do the right things then you can start the Now or Never quest which is the escape Novigrad mission. Don't do anything to encourage Yennifer at anytime in the game.

Yes, kissed Triss at the ball too. After that, nothing. Even got to the point where I can't trigger the quest "Help Triss finish what she has to do in Novigrad". Its listed but the dialogue option doesn't appear.

Running into the same issue right now myself, exact same scenario. She just sits in her 3rd story apt. reading her book, no dialogue option.

I'm pretty sure the update bugged Triss. I'm also having an issue where I convinced Kiera Metz to go Kaer Morhen, she agrees, but there's no sign of her. You having that problem too?

I'm still running the 1.32 classic version, so I haven't even updated to the 4.0. I have a full party going to Kaer Morhen, but not a single person is there yet aside from Yen and the Witchers.

I fixed mine!

There were a couple things I missed & had to use commands to fix things;

This one may be optional
1: I had missed gaining the Soldier Statuette from Caesar Bilzen's house during the mission to retrieve cards with Zoltan. When I went back to the house, the door does not open & could not get inside to gain the statuette. I had to use the following command & was immediately given the mission to help decompress them by talking to Triss:

Command Console press "~" in-game
Input each one individually & press Enter

additem('mq3012_soldier_statuette')

I had Triss decompress this missing statuette before proceeding further.

This one fixed the entire quest line
2: "A Favor for Radovid" was never triggered and also needed to use commands in order to start the mission. Mainly this is due to using Fast Travel mods;

(Warning: you must be on the Velen/Novigrad map and ideally with your destination, Est Tayiar, well out of sight - it's best to start at the Novigrad Gate of Oxenfurt - otherwise the required NPCs will not spawn.) The console codes must be input before the start of The Isle of Mists, and the quest line must be completed before A Deadly Plot otherwise Reason of State (post The Isle of Mists) will not appear.

This will immediately start "A Favor for Radovid".

3: Go to Est. Tayiar & complete the mission all the way into Phillipa's hideout & obtain the megascope crystal. Whatever you do DON'T FAST TRAVEL OUT! Run all the way back through the portals to the beginning & you will get a cutscene with the Witchunters from before at the entrance. You can then go see Triss, Yen, or Radovid about the Crystal.

I personally saw Triss, gave her the crystal & then went to see Radovid to complete the quest.

4: When this quest completed "Now or Never" was initiated & when I went back to Triss' apartment, the Witch hunters were outside like they should be. By the end of this mission, I chose to send Triss off (because I had already committed to Yen) & then "Brother's in Arms - Novigrad" marks as completed & can progress further. This also opened up "A Deadly Plot" regarding King Radovid & Dysktra.

Hope this helps someone else!

Update: Ran into another bug that is probably caused by all the quests being done out of order. This is necessary if you want the optional achievement "Assassin of Kings".

Even though I successfully completed "A Deadly Plot" prior to traveling to the Isle of Mists, there appears to be a bug that will still cause this to auto-fail when you travel to the Isle of Mists. It even shows up fully completed in the quest log, it automatically then moves to failed.

After you complete "A Deadly Plot" make sure you go back to speak with Dykstra again at his bathhouse and choose the optional dialogue about him going into politics. This is not a requirement and thus does not show up as part of any mission, but this is exactly what fixed the auto-fail. Once you speak with him about this, you can then proceed to the Isle of Mists & the quest will remain completed in your log.

Hi I got to Brothers in arms, when to Triss and got stuck at dialog. I fast travel after kill Whoreson Junior so I missed the quest. I just follow your instruct, go to Oxenfurt, type the command, travel back to Oxenfurt Harbor but still nothing trigger. Tried again which run into Whoreson hideout, type the command and walk out the door but still nothing. Any help ?

could u give me a command to start mission " Missing person"? After "Echoes of the Past" it doesn't appear for me this mission.
