I am glad that I do not notice any difference.

Focus on the grass, it's subtle, but it's there.

The creator of the video says in answers that he doesn't see any difference and you do.

The game looks the same on dx11 as it does on dx12 and dx11 has better performance on my computer.

Almost nothing and it's worst than RT if you just want to use DX12 for a little shadow x)

yes, cd project themselves said that there're some visual improvements that are present on dx12 and not in dx11, but in my opinion it's not worth the performance sacrifice

Yes but they dont specify what. The graphical options are the same, except for RT and FSR2/DLSS2.

DLSS seems to be broken

It's not broken. The game is insanely CPU bottlenecked when running in DX12/RT, DLSS can't help with that.

Without using ray tracing, the dlss only improved me by 1-2 fps. It does not work well.

There are some of the cores that were on use while playing a bit Witcher 3, R9 7900X. Some of the cores seem to be popping to 100% usage every now and then.

This is done with DX 12, Maxed out settings with FSR set to Quality and in 4k resolution

I think some people are clueless about the difference between DX11 and DX12. it's not like bumping the DX version is magically going to improve the graphics lol. What DX12 does is enable additional features such as Ray Tracing and DLSS amongst other things which is not supported in DX11 mode. But unless said features are enabled, it's not like you will notice any difference in terms of visuals.

CD Projekt put out a statement a couple days ago saying the DX12 renderer has visual upgrades other than ray tracing

what visual updates does dx12 vs dx11 have?

It doesn't say anything like that in the changelog, tell me where you've seen it.

I play in dx11 or d12 I see the game the same

I'm running the game in DX12 without RT, and I turned off blurring and enable sharpness. It looks phenomenal. DX11 looks amazing too, but you get better visuals in DX12. I have everything on Ultra+. I had to turn off one other setting that was causing flashing around the base of Geralt as he turns. I'm not sure which I like better tbh. Getting 144 FPS, even in Novigrad. I"m running an RTX2080.

DX12 visuals clearly better, those say otherwise are just in denial.

There is definitely a difference. Also, what the hell is the point of playing through the game again on this 'next gen' update if you're just going to turn off or revert the new changes? Sure it's not great at the minute but then just wait and hope for a fix?
