[FIXED] Game crashes on launch

Hello,

Every time I launch the game (with or without REDlauncher) the game crashes and the crash reporter pops up: https://imgur.com/a/BLTyMpz
I tried both Dx11 and Dx12, removed all my mods and reinstalled default files and still no luck.

I see that some people got the game working on PC, any tips?

i have the same problem, i uninstall and install again but the crash is there

Game worked fine for me on day one, using a 6950XT, ultra+ settings. Now it just crashes every time the game loads from the game main menu. I could get it to launch if I put the video settings at there lowest. The game probably is in need of some more patching and also some driver updates from AMD but this is just my best guess.

Same. So annoying. uninstall and install but nothing works. Restart. New Driver...

I was having the same issues, I am not sure if you are able to get to the main menu at all but ray tracing was the problem. If I turned that off the game worked fine again.

After uninstalling the game, did you manually remove any left game folder? This is the correct procedure: uninstall, manually remove remaining folders, reinstall and verify files.
Issues when loading saves are more difficult to address, I started a thread with some possible solutions to reduce the chance of a crash, (titled "useful hints for those experiencing problems with the new update", if I well remember), but at present the only solution which seems to actually solve the problem of non working saves is disabling RT.

Hello Alexis, reinstalling the game and manually removing the remaining files seems to have fixed the issue! The game launches now on Dx12.

Fixed mine as well. Game runs pretty good on my setup Not so bad after all.

The game worked after the last update, but only with DX11, in my case it doesn't work with DX12
