I don't know why the FSR doesn't work for me (gtx1080) whereas all other games it works perfectly.
Also, the game runs smoother on dx11 (whereas all other games run better on dx12, more stable framerate, less stuttering, etc)

You're probably running TAAU at native (dynamic scaling off), which of course will look better than FSR rendering at a lower resolution.
Indded ! The performance is the same for me, that's what i wanted to notice :)
So i better stick to native, waiting for the next patch to solve this FSR issue.
What i don't understand though is that some player seem to have FSR work properly.
Classic version, ultra, 40+ visual mods stable 144hz/fps
Next gen dx11 no mods, ultra, ssr low, rtx off = 85fps average + massive stutters.
Most would say the DX12 version is not running 'fine'
Have you been to Novigrad yet? :)
Similar specs but at 1440p...
DX12 with ultra settings (RT off)
50-60 fps at the Novigrad marketplace
60-80 fps outside of towns.
DX11 with Ultra+ settings
110-120 fps at the Novigrad marketplace
144+ fps (locked) outside of towns.
Tested it in the city and it works fine under DX12 and FSR maxed out at 1440p.
