theyre technically dx12 gpu's, but as it seems dx12 is a bit wonky in this update right now, and really only offers the benefit of Ray Tracing and DLSS which arent supported with that gpu anyway. Save yourself the headache.
Im the only one who can't see fps?
You're welcome, and If 12 seems to run better than 11 does then by all means stick with it, really its all about whatever provides you your best experience.
Overlays are borked in dx 12 right now initially due to a wonky dx11 to dx12 wrapper being shipped with the game preventing hooking into the dx12 api. there is a fix by navigating to the folder here:
\steamapps\common\The Witcher 3\bin\x64_dx12
and renaming/removing the d3d11on12.dll file.
it'll force the system to use the bundled system library dx11 wrapper instead of the one included with the game.

see this video. I don't recommend you delete the files
I wouldnt remove the dxil.dll file that they removed. That has nothing to do with the issue at all and was initially thought to be part of the problem last night when the solution to rename/remove the dx11 wrapper was found. apparently everyone that makes videos never bothered to check back to the same thread that was found in like an hour after it was initially posted as it was figured out that quickly the dxil.dll file is fine.
I have verified that overlays will work just fine with the dxil.dll file in tact in game.
I removed it, and I only tested the msi afterburner, I didn't test the steam overlay, the best thing is to wait for them to fix it
dxil.dll relates to validating shader compilation module functions. Just restore that file. it's only the d3d11on12 wrapper that needs to go for overlays to function.
