I use it, for B+W gear at level 8
You can right click on Witcher 3 in your library, hover over manage, select Browse Local Files, and this is where your mods folder should be. If it's not there, create a new file and name it mods, no capital M, just mods. Drop your unzipped mods in there and it should simply work. Can yoink 'em outta there if you wanna disable them.
Me personally, I use the mod that adds every Gwent card to a merchant at Crow's Perch, the oldmin, always asks you if you want cider. Messes up his inventory quite a bit, but far as I saw, he still has his normal stock. Messes up balance a little bit since the cards cost 10-70 crowns a piece, making him my go-to merchant for selling junk, since he always has money. I love monster and elf decks, can't really use them even in the mid-game, you'll be at the last 3 card holders when you have a deck that can actually be used.
