Keira Metz is the worst [RANT - SPOILERS]
1. She treats you like a fetchboy.
"Get this. Get that. Oh wait, I forgot something else I need, go there and fetch that for me as well. Whoops, I see your legs are still working, mind running over to that carriage and getting something for me..."

2. She lies to you multiple times (or rather "hides the truth").
Like bro, you know me and Foltest were homies. I would assume that he probably mentioned my loyalty to him on multiple occasions. We're on the same team here, why are you treating me like an enemy?

3. She constantly dances you around her finger
Related to my 1st point, but can also stand on its own. She likes having total control over the situation to the point where it's toxic and borderline narcissistic.

4. She puts you to sleep using a spell at your most vulnerable.
Like what the actual fck. You left me unconscious in the middle of the night wearing basically nothing, surrounded by wolves, drowners, rotfiends, bandits, and Melitele knows what else.

Why do people like her? She literally treats you like sh!t the whole time.

Same with Yennefer, Triss.
Even Shani. If you don't see it - you just did not play the game.

Geralt is a ladies' man. Both in books and in games.
I would explain why Gerald would forgive all that Keira did to him, but that would sound too sexist.

You also can let Keira go to Radovid, where she will meet her ultimate fate - results of such meeting you will witness firsthand in Novigrad's main square.

When a character brings so much emotions in you - it's a well written character. Hope Witcher 4 will have at least some of it.
Yeah that applies to pretty much most of the characters in the witcher world, especially sorceresses (if you read the books, this fact is clearly outlined).

Why people like her? Well, I would first start with assumption that they might empathize with her because they might be just as rotten as her in their own way, you'd be surprised how many people empathize with characters like that, then there's also the case of the naughtiness.

What bugs me most about Keira is her "Me first, last, and only" attitude. Yeah, Triss and Yenn complain about their situation, but they're going through it for the sake of someone else. Yenn is facing conditions she doesn't like because she's concerned about Ciri. Triss is living in squalor because she wants to help the mages of Novigrad escape persecution. But Keira? She's just in Velen because she thinks that's where Radovid's witch-hunters won't be able to find her.

You can see this attitude most in her motivations concerning the quest "A Tower Full of Mice". She doesn't want to lift the curse on that area for the sake of helping Oreton's fishermen, she's doing it because she thinks she can use the knowledge in the tower as a bargaining tool with Radovid. Think about that for a moment. She's willing to hand knowledge on a fatal, contagious disease to RADOVID, and for no other reason than to get somewhere else. We KNOW what he's likely to do with that information, and diseases do NOT respect borders.

I agree, but 'testing the player's patience' is a theme in Witcher games. Even TW1 had scenarios in it where the 'best' outcome came from swallowing your pride and helping / going along with a character who's a demonstrably pernicious ingrate.

In this particular case, they even let you vent your anger at the annoying character in a much more direct manner than usual - there's always the 'kill her' option at the end of the Fyke Island stuff if you just can't stomach her any more.

I can understand Geralt forgiving her for treating him like a fetchboy, fine. Everyone kind of treats him that way, you're right. BUT...

What excuse could you possibly have for her leaving you unconscious in the middle of the night half-naked? Lie to me all you want and treat me like a delivery boy all you want, but now you've effectively turned me into a live bait. Wolves, drowners, rotfiends, etc. THAT I cannot excuse.
If you activate witcher senses near Keira, you'll notice she is detected as a monster. The devs tried to warn you...

I've been on this Earth for 25 years and I never heard anyone refer to sex as "shagging" xD

We learn something every day...

I didn't say she was ugly.

She's a solid 6, ofc I'd bang her, but that's not the point.

You'd be amazed by what people are into nowadays xD

Everyone in the game treats Geralt like a fetchboy.
Yennefer is much worse than Keira in regards to withholding the truth and manipulation. Just in the main quest she treats Geralt so much worse than Keira... Even during her personal quest she never tells him anything until the very end and also manipulates him constantly. So, basically, that's kind of an expected behavior at this point?
She didn't leave you in a really dangerous place and also it seems you were out only briefly, not hours but minutes, considering the color of the sky and that you caught up with her immediately.. Lore-wise there are very few monsters left in the world and there is a village very close, so there should not be any bandits there as well. We also don't know, but she might have cast a magic protection spell, like detection interference so that no one would notice Geralt.
And she helps you later at Kaer Morhen, plus Lambert is happy, so that's awesome.

That's why I skipped her personal quest and went to Novigrad to save Triss. Seeing Yen really upset in Kaer Morhen was priceless.
I did the quest and told her - nah, I am done, I am outta here!
