This game really needs an Nvidia Streamline update
Title says most of what I want really, the current version The Witcher uses is 1.5.6 .sl files. It's not even listed on Nvidias github branch, seems to be unique. Updating them myself to the next branch available (2.0.0) sadly doesn't work, so obviously 2.7.2 doesn't work either.

If the game dev updated them like they did for Cyberpunk which also used to use 1.5.6, DLSS and frame generation should see a significant improvement, especially when using the transformer model dlls for either. Both SR and frame gen should see an improvement, frame gen seeing further increases in frames added, aswell as reduces VRAM usage, possibly additional smoothness in general aswell. While super resolution should see additional image stability. 50 series users would also gain access to multi frame generation with streamline updated.

https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/1ig4f7f/the_new_dlss_4_fg_has_better_performance/ reddit post here shows the gains for other games with FG aswell which were able to be swapped out.

That being said, if anyone is aware of any of the .sl files later than 1.5.6 that work in The Witcher 3, please let me know as I'd greatly appreciate it (would likely be another one of these 1.x.x versions from another game if they exist).

I hope by making this post that CD Projekt are made aware of the desire for this, and hopefully bringing awareness to others.

Thanks.

the devs wont upgrade this game most likely , they focus on witcher 4 now.

there are many things that are old version , like RT itself ,
even simple DirectX 12 Agility SDK was not updated so forget anything else. (at least that one easy to upgrade by yourself)
I guess shader model is also old version
you could probably upgrade it to 6.8 (since its 6.5 most likely)

I'm using dlss to fsr frame gen mod,DLSS4 dll from techpowerup, rivatuner for Nvidia reflex always enabled and some mods for improve memory leak and RT performance,it works like a charm in a humble 3070 at 1440p.

We can use tranformer model just fine right now. It's not that I have the issue with, it's the streamline files that is the issue that help apply the tech. It could be much better for both. In theory those SL fines could also improve this FSR mod you speak of, because it uses those files for the conversion.

It's not that it's not working, it just can be better because it's so outdated.

I also want it because I want to use MFG, since the game is so CPU bound with RT on.
