The whole character arc of her character in the books is her falling in love with geralt even though he only wants to be a father figure to her, and he's totally oblivious to that while thinking her advances is accepting him as her new parental guardian.
She a complete, hardened, badass monster slayer. This comes across really well.
Not as strong as Geralt, brilliantly portrayed in the combat.
But yeah, we will see.
Uhhh, they are immune to diseases and the cold/flu virus'? That's more then enough reason right there.
