Loving the new WOLF SCHOOL armor set but.....
is it just me or the Ursine still looks a lot more badass? I know its medium vs heavy. But in terms of looks, it kinda makde him less of a badass? Dont get me wrong, im realling digging the wolf armor set. I wish there was a heavy version tho....

I just re-check the Wolven armor because right now on TW2 dead march. It's a bad model armor, because Wolven armor are came from base model Temerian Armor of The Witcher 2, and that armor is weak and fast forgotten.
CDPR, wtf with this wolven armor ?

Ursine is the only way if you play the fashion game

You can swap the stats between the wolf and bear armor witht a mod on nexus.

And I mean you might not think it's the most badass but some people will say it is the most badass looking. It depends on people's taste.

The armor set makes sens, it's cool looking (better than griffin and cat for me) and I mean it was in a free DLC. You don't like? Then fine. Use the bear armor. Simple.

* And btw, when I say the armor makes sens, I mean it is a mix of Vesemir, Lambert and Eskel armors put all together.

If Ursine and Griffin sets gonna have baby that's probably gonna be Wolfs set. As a sword player I don't accept armor much, but man Wolf swords are totally best for now!

Ive finished teh Withcer already almost a week ago, and yes I am playing the fashion game. To the point that ive even downloaded sweetfx mods and ramped up my graphics settings all for aesthetics sake so that I can enjoy my 2nd playthrough differently. That is why im kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ about the new armor set. Ive used Urisine and Feline througout my first playthrough so I was really excited when this came out. Anyway I like a lot, but not as much as the ursine. Atleast its something new.

Also, i totally agree with you that its a mix between the other withcer's armor. At first glance my initial reaction was it REALLY lookes like just a retexture of the Tamerian armor of TW3.

Wolf school set looks bad, the coolest armor in this game still is the starter one. Im using it on my second playthrough, i just change my weapons.

I prefer Ursine more than wolf set, frankly if it's not mastercraft version wolf armor look very terrible.

I'm not that far into the game (16 hours now cause did witcher 1 n 2 runs when this came out) but armor stats really doesn't matter, the goal is not to get hit, i constantly fight monsters that have a red skull above their names, and i was hit maybe 20 times in entire playthru? Just dodge, and you can wear any armor, they won't touch you anyways ^^

cmon guys I said I really liked the armor I just wished there was a heavy version of it. Not minding the stats or anything all purely aesthetics. Also I am very thankful for Cdprojekt for giving as free DLC and listing to our requests because I was one of those people who wanted a wolf set in teh first place and GOT IT. So yea, Im not complaning at all. I like the armor. Wish there was a heavy version, thats it.

Mastercrafted Wolf reminds me very much of the armor found in previous games, I love it.
But, it doesn't look as awesome as the Bear gear.

Developers, pls make game harder to those fashion chicks finally start to think about gear and their lives instead of "How i look today guys?!" :/

I actually use the cat gloves boots and legs and the bear chest (for looks) and the wolf swords.

once you have the Ehkidna Decoction i think its called your invincible anyway because verytime you use a sign or (in my case) use the whirlwind attack it heals you (to full health with whirl) about 15% with a sign. That + shield sign and you can hack and slash your way thru anything that wont 1 shot you (and as someone else said you can dodge those)

I prefer the Feline armor. The Superior Feline Armor set is the coolest looking, and what i feel is close to the Kaer Mohren armor, and what I think Geralt would use. The Ursine armor is to heavy and big, and looks more like trenchcoat.

The Wolf Armor is my second favourite. it look really cool. Not as cool as the Feline armor, but almost.

3jackDaw -

Like I said, there's a mod on nexus that allows you to switch the stats between the bear armor and the wolf armor. Look it up, it's easy to install.
