How can I get my beard to grow again?

I got the hairstyles DLC, and now I read that having it makes your beard not grow throughout the game. Can I undo this so it will grow again? I just uninstalled it but I don't know if that'll fix it.

Just shave your beard. When you are clean shaven it will grow out.

Yeah, but I've heard if you do that then it won't grow.

I shaved mine frequently, always grew back. I have all the free dlc. Works fine.

CD Projekt Red said themselves that the beard stops growing when the DLC is installed. Whether it grows when you select a default beard style other than shaven has been debated a lot.

And you can't load saves that had DLC once you delete the DLC. Great. I'll try shaving and see if that does the trick.

No matter the style it grows back, you can 'cut' it full but short, it grows faster that way.

I shaved it and played for hours (days in-game), and it does not grow. It seems the dev wasn't lying when they said installing the DLC kills it.

If your beard stops growing, and you've only a 'clean shave', turn on hairworks and run around for a minute then turn it back off. Your beard will start growing.

My beard always grow out when I go clean shaven, and I always change haircut. So that's not write. Just clean shave, and a few days in game time it will grow out.
