Vesimir...*SPOILER*

I don't think that I've been sadden by his result this much ever. Most of the other games I just shrugg it off when a non-main character die. Not sure what's so special about him in this case that make me feel terrible for his death. I didn't feel any attachment toward the Baron and his fate at all, but I felt tears in my eyes when Geralt paid his final respect to the master. The only other character that I felt some sympathy with was that Skajl guy that helped Ciri get away because he had suffered so much during Yennefer's witchcraft.

What are your thoughts about Vesemir and the fate of the Wolf School?

What do you mean you don't know? He's been Geralt's mentor since forever, also, Witcher series is the one which best showed characters as friends, it doesn't need hundreds of hours of screen time, the game just says the know each other and they support it through dialogue, so when one of them dies, you're not sad because you lost a character you liked but because Geralt lost a character he loved.

I'm confused by your statement. Many other games have secondary character that are masters and good friends that die as well. I just rarely have any emotion on their deaths. This one in particular saddens me. Vesemir isn't around for much of the story line and only appears in small portion.

That's my point, this series proves that you don't need to carry companions all around to make them relevant. Sometimes all you need is a great scripts and a few minutes.

Uncle Vesemir was all that kept Kaer Morhen together, now they will disperse. Lambert stayed, and he was always fighting Vesemir about the cruelty of the trial of the grasses on children. Lambert told Yennefer to show him respect. Surviving that world as a witcher for over 4 centuries earned him that. No witcher ever died in his bed, but Vesemir must be among the oldest to ever live.

to be honest i saw his death coming since the start of the game, mainly due to the name of one of the songs on the soundtrack but it still made me shed a tear to see him die like that.
