Places of power give me no talent points

I dont get any talent points from them. and adrenaline does never fill during fights, only when i drink a potion. i dont even know what its good for?

You have to hold the action key for a few seconds.

you sure the place of power is new? ones you already drawned wont give skill points anymore, just the first time.

Places of Power can only be accessed once per playthrough for a skillpoint. After that, they only give a buff.

As Xsys said, when you go up to it, Make sure you HOLD the button down for a few seconds. Otherwise, you will not get the skillpoint.

Geralt will "Kneel" regardless if you hold or not, but it won't play the full animation for obtaining the skillpoint.

If you look at your map, I think places of power you've drained a skillpoint from are greyed out, while the ones you haven't are the solid white color like the ?'s on the map.

thank you for your help. it works, i had to hold it down for a bit longer... now im going to have to travel to all the places again :D

The skillpoint words flash across the screen very fast the first time you do it.

It's easy to miss.

You also have to hold the key down for a long time.

Don't worry, you'll get the measly little points.

k den. what about adrenaline? ive even skilled it but the bar doesnt fill up during a fight

I am at Level 36. The last two Places of Power gave me the Buff, but NO Skill Point even though the message script said it was awarded. And of course afterwards the site is Greyed Out. I think it's a bug. I have the Season Pass with all DLC's running Windows 10.
