display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered

this keeps happening after about 5 mins of gameplay then the screen goes black and that message appeares.

Re installed all drivers, and changed setting to maximum performace nothing has helped, issue persists

have a msi gtx 970 which is only about 3 months old so i cant see how it can be faulty already
help would be appreciated
