Of Diary & Darkness quest bugged??

I have gotten to the magical barrier and have to cast Igni on the two small pyramids at each side of the room, however - the pyramids dont seem to react when i cast Igni.

I have been stuck on this for a couple hours now and must have cast Igni a hundred times, am I missing something or is the quest bugged?

Is that the one with cheese lol? I take it you already tried casting from different angles? I had to reposition myself to get that sweet spot for igni to work

Yes I have but it is deifnately Igni I need,

I had a previous save but when I load it, only one of the pyramids work... getting closer lol.

Another thing- when I try to load a "Checkpoint" save the game goes into a permanant loading screen.

I found the improved igni "flamethrower" worked best as you can wave it around and it sets the pyramids off. I never had any luck igniting them with the normal igni power.

I loaded a save game from quite a ways back and when i got back there everything worked as it should,

one cast of Igni on each pyramid, no probs.

well, actually the illusion wall bugged out but luckily i was so paronoid i was saving every 2 seconds lol.

It is a little tricky. Try exiting the game and reloading a previous save? Yes, it's definitely igni to use on the pyramids.
