x360ce 64 bit doesn't work!
Hello, i can't figure out how to make the 64 bit version work... i put it in the correct folder (bin/x64 etc...)

but the small box alway stays red, even with pass trough unchecked! The 32 bit version works fine with my other games, but here we need the 64 bit and i can't figure out at all what to do

i already searched if someone had the same problem, i'm not alone, but i still didn't found the answer, here or on gog

any help? Thanks (and sorry for my english)

this game would be so much better with a controller.... witcher 1 and 2 were designed for keyboard+mouse but this one i feel like a controller would be awesome.... And please don't tell me to buy a 360 controller...

anyway, nobody know why 64 bit version doesn't work? I can't even find some answer on the official x360ce website

thanks again if you can help me

it's a speedlink FX, like i said, it works perfectlly fine on the x360ce 32 for other game, logically it should work with 64 bit too right?

Really? Now it is the developers responsiblity to make sure some third party controller emulator program works with their game? Really?

I don't play fighting games. But for Witcher 3 it works great.

hmmm, just saw that it doesn't work well with windows 8.1 (wanted to buy the 710 wireless)

but if there's a solution for x360ce that would be the best, i wouldn't have to buy an other controller!

(it's a shame that most developper don't use d-input anymore.... lots of indie games (even 3d ones) are compatible with almost every controller)

D-pad is good for fighting games. Not as good as an arcade stick but its d-pad is a lot better compared to the xbox 360's. Dead or Alive 5 LR has a problem with it though, the game doesn't fully support X-input so the buttons beyond the ABXYs get wonky.

I would also suggest trying it with kb+mouse first. I began playing this game with a controller but I keep dying due to the stubborn camera. With kb+mouse Geralt just twirls around mobs like they're cattle.

I hear ya man :(

Hell, I just put 150 hours into the game and just now got around to finishing the last of the main storyline, and I want to do it all over again with a controller, but all I have is a stupid Afterglow PS3 controller that works with x360ce in every game except GTA V and the Witcher 3 :((((

I have a massive tension knot throbbing in my back from those hours of sitting and using a mouse and keyboard to play. To think, I could have been reclined back and relaxed if Valve would just make the means for supporting DirectINput controllers mimic Xinput controllers in their stupid Big Picture ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Mode or w/e it's called.

We'll just have to wait until someone smart figures it out :3. Either that or we give in and go buy an xone controller.

yeah or buy the logitech f710 (the d-pad is exactly where i want, so i'm a little tempted, haha)

anyway, i blame the developpers, not steam, they don't want to spend little time to include d-input while little indie games with only 1 to 3 person making the game can make every controller compatible.... that's sad!

Hope that arkham knight will work with my controller
