Exploration - Undiscovered Locations | Unknown Marker

I have finished every single contract and only have a couple of possible side quests left on the question marks I have left. However there is something I would like to ask.

On Skellige I have 0 things to do and explore save for one thing. On the Undvik island which is the lower left one, there is a question mark around the middle of the map on top of the lake and I already been there and there is nothing there. Already tried looking around to see if maybe there is a cave but I didn't find anything. I am right on top of the question mark and it won't go away. Am I missing a cave entrance or is it a glitch? And by the way the question mark doesn't have the arrow indicating that it is bellow the current altitude that I'm in so I'm led to believe this is a glitch.

Also something that I don't know what it is, is the whirlpool marker which makes me think it's an indicator of something magical.
As I was travelling through Velen I found a couple of whirlpool markers on the minimap but there is nothing there. It's the same marker that you can find at Tor Gvalch'cha, the tower on Skellige. That same whirlpool shows up on the minimap on top of where the locked door of that tower is and it's purple in color instead of white.

What are these whirlpool markers? Am I missing something or are they meaningless? And is the Skellige undiscovered location bugged or did I just not find a cave entrance.

The whirlpool is a teleport. They are usually underground and you usually visited them as part of an earlier quest, or will do as part of an upcoming quest.

Not sure about your undiscovered location.

The lake question mark is bugged, same as "people in need" location by a shrine in White Orchard

OHHH that's right. That's what they were I had forgotten. But save for the one in the tower, I found like 3 ones in Velen in the middle of nowhere but ok, might have been near a cave or something.

If someone could look at their map to see if they have the same question mark I would appreciate.

It's on the lower left island. The question mark is at the north part of the lake, to the right of the buildings. It's on the water.
