wonderin' what's the maximum vitality of Geralt ?
So yeah title says all. With well combinated mutagens and skills you can reach about10K vitality (I'm lvl 38) but I was wonderin' what's the record so far ? (Including armors what gives you additional vitality etc) ?

here is my skill tree combination for example. I see I could easily get 10k hp, but I wanna keep my melee and sign skills more improved.

There's someone on this forum who knows this and has the stats. I'm sure they will pop in at some point and tell the legend.

Edit: found the post anyway, not sure if it's been improved on: http://steamcommunity.com/app/292030/discussions/0/615086038676137478/#c615086038676624006

what setting are you playing on im going through death march atm. just made lvl 3 and started velen. my other play through im lvl 34 i think, on easy(for the story, btw is awsome.)

I played on hard one (broken bones all the time) and I liked to switch to death march sometimes. Only one thing is that on death march elementa foes become quite annyoing.

And yes, I enjoyed the story as well. It's just brilliant :)

Wow thats a lot of health.. sure you could tank anything with that amount of health.. even on a harder difficulty.

I went with a sign intensity build... not sure if that was a right decision or not D:

I think focusing in any one tree probably makes you pretty powerful but maybe alch > sign > melee. Honestly by the time you've reached 30 something it doesn't matter much which you went but melee probably significantly less effective than the other two.

here's one very usefull perk in alchemy category which sightly improves all mutagen effects (up to 40-50%) so it's a reason to invest into alchemy or half-alchemy build.

Got a bug, some said because the Mutagen replacing slot could make it.
My sign Intensity became +1500% and my vitality rose up to 23.000hp.

That's weird. That would be interesting to see a screenshot. Also I believe there are (or will be soon) mods who will modify mutagen power.

The only bug I am aware of is if you re-load your save you have to take your mutagens out and replace them, otherwise the buff is lower than it should be. Is that the same thing you are referring to?

I wasn't realize the bug (which happen on level 15) until I reach level 20. And that bug is permanent. That bug is so annoy and funny, because, when I'm level 20, met level 35 basilisk, just wooosh ... with Igni, the monster got burning effect, and died under 5 second. Because the Damage Per Second (DPS) from the burning was 2000/sec.

But the coolest think about that bug was using YRDEN. Literally any enemy got to magical cirlce trap, got freeze... and the trap are maintain for more than 2 minutes.

21k+ Vitality easily, keep a few things in mind:

Non-Witcher gear armour can give +Vitality. I have seen 400+ on body armour and pants.
Going full alchemy and School of Bear for maximum Effect. These are what you need to take:
Mutagen Intensity
+1000 Vitality when drinking Decoction. It will only works on your first decoction even though to use this build you need 3 Decoction.
+50% Max Vitality when you surpass safety threshold
Superior Full Moon
Nightwraith Decoction +max Vitality by roughly 60 per kill up until 2k (?), haven't tested the full limit yet
All 4 Greater Green Mutagen
School of Bear for 20% max Vitality increase
Troll Decoction to negate the draining Vitality effect from surpassing safety threshold
Bear Armour or Imperial Brigade armour so you can face tank anything. These give roughly 70% damage reduction.
