Question About Keira Metz (spoilers)
So in my game I chose to bed her and then kill her when she wouldn't turn over the disease notes from Fyke Isle. Must say, although it felt like the right thing to do (Geralt made some good points about Radovid weaponzing it and just taking the notes from Metz and killing her anyway) I will admit that I felt regret over the choice.

Just wondering, for possible future playthroughs, does letting Metz live come back to effect the game/story in any meaningful way? Or does it emulate a "Bioware Consequence" where you run into her later, have a conversation, and maybe get an item.

Depends on your definition of meaningful really. She might find a cure for the plague and hook up with one of your witcher mates But it's more story than anything.

I let her live and told her of a safe place to hide. havent seen the results yet

Yes it does if you let her live and pick the right choices she's at the battle of kaer morhen latter in the game.

You can convince her to go to Kaer Moren instead and still get the notes from her in a peaceful way. She will assist you there later on in the game and have a follow up story at the end of it with a buddy of yours - it's a possibility of bumping onto her in future witcher games even though Geralt's story ends with this one.

Ok so there were three outcomes right? Killing her, shipping her off to Kaer Moren, and letting her take off for Redania right?

What happens if you let her go and not send her to Kaer Moren?

I assume she's exploited then burnt like the rest of them.

She goes to the king, he gets the notes and then burns her on a stake.

Does Geralt see it happen or is it something that you find out about later on?

This I am not certain. I would assume you can see it during one of the ending cinematics with other characters follow ups.

Didn't even know that you could actually kill her. :/ (Not that I would ever do that, nor ♥♥♥♥ her for that matter either)...

Yeah, if you choose the "I can't let you do that" dialogue option she tells you to draw your sword and you have a little magic v sword battle with her. I thought for a moment there that I'd only injure her or force her to yield and then be given the option to either take the notes from her or put her down for good but nope - you straight murder that [w]itch

The number of people who ♥♥♥♥♥♥ her then killed her minutes later is pretty disturbing :D

Well she does use you. She has you clear out Fyke Isle so she can get the notes b/c apparently she can't step foot there without getting some kinda super-mage-migraine. Then she seduces you and knocks you out in the hopes of jetting over to Fyke, grabbing the notes, selling them off to Radovid in the hopes of being able to safely return to civilized life, and never seeing you again.

Plus Geralt does make a good point that A) Radovid will probably kill her anyway and B) The information in the notes, it's strongly hinted, could lead to creation of a weaponized disease. I can only imagine that a biological weapon in that kind of setting would be like having a nuke.
