Agreed but I still love how the game makes you make the tough call where things are not always black and white. Side note that I thought of, anyone else catch Ciri talking about worlds she had been to and one sounding like a Cyberpunk kind of one? I can't remember what she said but delayed memory kicked as I did this quest and I was like damn, wonder if that was a coy nod to CDPRs next big game.
As for Sile - I didn't really care who finished her off and I doubt Geralt would either. If you read the character description in the menu, there was animosity between the two. It makes more sense for Geralt to do it because Yen can at least get on with escaping with the other sorceress while Geralt has to stay behind and escape conventionally anyway.
