The current employees of CD Projekt Red are not the ones that made the Witcher and Cyberpunk games. Those devs are now called Rebel Wolves. Nearly all the original devs left the company over creative and ideological differences and formed a new company.

A company is only as good as its employees. That is especially true for creative endeavours. If Manchested United replace their billions of pounds in players with 20-30 random truck drivers, I feel like their game is going to suffer.

For instance, they hired an infamous gaming journalist as lore master.

The only thing I care about is if the game reflect's the people behind the studio making the game. If Ciri doesn't take menstrual leave from fighting monsters, I'll be displeased.

She's also got to take on quests by a equality basis. If she's not applying how she helps people on a 50/50 basis, that would mean she's a bigot and that would be wrong.
