How do you toggle a reshade effect?
I've got reshade menu open in game with a preset loaded but I want to see the difference before/after is there a simple way of doing this?

Easiest way if you want a general toggle would be to go to the Settings Tab, then find the field named "Effect Toggle Key" and assign a binding.

Since ReShade UI is toggled by HOME, I always use END for the Effect Toggle.
