Tracking Multiple Quests?
Can Ionly track one quest at a time ?
tracking only one quest is so frustrating.
it is nice to be complete quest one by one when walking/travelling on the map.

why devs blocked multiple quest tracking i cant understand.

You can still do the other quests and they still show up on the map... the icon color just changes and the map points out the location better if you set the quest as active.

Just because you have 1 quest active doesnt mean you cant do the others at the same time...

I don't know that they blocked it. It's just never been a part of the Witcher series. All three games have been this way.

This is dumb I agree, in lets say Dying Light, all active quests were on map/mini map,
no mater if it is conversation or action or item.
In Whitcher 3 you can pass 5 different quest no knowing because there is nothing on minimap...

yeah going back for a lvl 7 secondary quest at lvl 18 because i didn't notice it along the giant unordered list is just so fun

I believe they wanted to make each quest some kind of 'contained' story, perhaps to make them more immersive? So I think one is supposed to just focus in a single quest at a time.

The devs have not in any way blocked multiple quest tracking. It is simply not in the game at all, and never has been in these series. You cannot block anything that's not present to start with.

And honestly... Most quest are little story's by themselves. It would take all the fun away, and would become confusing, if you are doing multiple story's at the same time. But that's just my take on it.

Anyway.. It was never in the game, and adding this would take an lot of (re)programming. The devellopers are busy now with patches and the expansions, so I honestly do not think anybody at CDPR is waiting for an complete game engine overhaul. They have better things to do right now.

That's how I've played all three games.

Lord forbid anyone has to follow something like a journal to keep up with what they're supposed to do. The HORROR!

Ok, I kinda agree. I'd would like to see more tracked as well. but I think the devs intentionally wanted to keep it focused like it is and not have the entire map and mini-map filled up with stuff...oh wait, it already is with all the other stuff... Oh, heck, I have no idea then... :-)

I think it was more like they didn't want your mini map filled with one route going there and another route going over there and ANOTHER route going over there. Your on a quest to kill a griffin and you end up knee deep in a murder mystery.

Wanting to track multiple quests is like requesting a messier interface.

I agree... streamlined. I'm on board.
