Weeeelll, I also wore them for stats on my first run through.

Then I just waited till I got some good Witcher Gear diagrams. Unfortunately, Cat gear only looks decent toward the end of its progression. I never liked Griffin gear. My favorite was the Bear Gear, cuz that swishing cloth and the tight chainmail just looked badass.
I would get so piss after building good gear and then I find gear with better stats, but looked like crap. I gave up on building. Im selling all treasures and keeping whats better. :Toxic_Geralt:

The game's easy enough that I'm OK coasting on lower level gear till I find some or make some that actually looks decent.

I am 80% sure that dnrob7 picked those boots for fashion, not for stats)

Well, not really. They tend to be the best out there for a long time. Those had like +16% igni and 2 glyph spaces plus heavy armor resistances so no.. it's hard to find better stats and impossible to find better looking.
I only recently upgraded them to a new pair closer to my level and at this point.. i would have kept the old ones anyway just for the look since I don't bother with big stats anymore.

I changed my build from alchemy to strong attacks just to wear ursine
Only when you play the fashion game you can truly win

Once you go bear, you never go back.

True, those stats are pretty good.

I wonder how shiny the whole set would look like

You'd kill monsters with your gold armor instead of your silver sword.

Maybe they will complete the set with the expansions.. One can hope.
That lvl 4 steel sword is a 4ucking monster. I still use it as my main boss killer even now at lvl 21.
I use the silver for foes at my level. Steel for those far above.

I think the lvl 35 arch griffin is about as big as they get though.. I think I might be out of targets now.

Outfit looks terrible this time.. Deffo going back to that other armor^
