An unpaid debt quest bug

When i decide not to kill Volund Simon attack and i was forced to kill him ofc but in the quest log i found Geralt payed his debt off by killing the man Simon ordered him. i know this is a minor bg but still.....is there a way to fix this or it is waiting a new patch?

Same situation: Killed Simun, but the quest log said I killed the other guy to pay off the debt. This is on the 1.08 patch, hasn't been fixed. Nothing much you can do as far as I can see.

Yeah, apparently that bug was never fixed. Just did that quest and it says I killed the other guy in the quest log, even though I killed Simun. Really frustrating bug.
