lack of Quen display indicator details
I think that we should get similar Quen indicator, like the one from the Witcher 2.
Why? Yellow circle orbiting Geralt, to indicate active Quen, is just isn't enough.
I prefer a Quen circle with a timer and round durability bar around it.
You knew, when you Quen will collapse, due to time limit or damage.
Here you can only prey that you got some luck and good instincts, but that's not enough.

To intrusive makes it feel like an MMO or something....I like the little orbiting thing. myself. Its still pretty obvious if its up or not.

I don't mind the way it is now but I wish it flickered faster or something since a glance won't always tell you if it's still active.

I've literally never had an issue like this. If you can't tell which sign you have active, get your eyes checked. The yellow orbiting is more than enough, and it's also accompanied by a audio que and animation upon activation. If you get hit and the shield breaks, congratulations. You had quen active. If you get hit and take damage, you didn't. Paying attention even a little bit is the solution to your non-issue.

I started on the original Witcher game, where Quen was a visible yellow 'bubble' that had a countdown so you know how much time was left and negated ALL damage for the full duration of the sign.

That's still my favorite version of Quen.

I am not complaining about the normal visual display, I just wish that I would get some more info or optional choice, to check some option to see it displayed, like a potion above.

Quen can take more than 1 hit. It has a hp value that is hidden to the player. It's duration is also hidden. Do you see if you have quen active? congradulations! Did you know it was going to wear off half a second before that attack is about to kill you? congradulations!

It's honestly not a big issue for me either, but a visual indicator that displays more information to the player would obviosly have been better.

I too wish for a countdown timer. I just recently started using Quen more often and I don't know how many times in the heat of battle that Quen disappears and I miss it somehow, or that the timer just runs out as I'm entering another engagement. So many other timed effects have indicators, why not that one too?
