Best place to sell armour, weapons and runes?

I have several sets of armour, several swords, and a load of runes and I want to sell them for as much as possible, does anyone know where to go to sell them?

I never saw any higher/lower prices vs merchants, maybe I'm wrong? You just dont seem to get that much from any of them

armorers and blacksmiths in Novigrad and Oxenfort.. People have money there so you get better prices. Simples.

Thanks I'll try that in future, I ended up just selling them to whoever...

Not all merchants have the same prices. In general, they pay more for the types of items they specialize in (blacksmiths for armor and weapons, alchemists for ingredients, booksellers for books, etc.), and general merchants that buy everything have worse prices. In rich areas like Novigrad they tend to pay more than in poor villages. Also, some of them have unusually good prices, like an alchemist just outside Novigrad to the north, although he is only available for a limited time.

I like the blacksmiths in novigrad, they have a lot more money and buy items for a good enough price atleast compared to oxenfort

That will do. Selling everything for its best price will guarantee you overflowing with coins and nowhere to spend them.

The Grandmaster smith in Toussaint. He has lots of gold to buy your stuff. You can go there early even if you're way underlevel. I used the Archgriffin decotion to kill the giant at the beginning so it didn't take 10 years to whittle his health down.

I know this is an ancient thread but just in case someone else comes along like I just did,
if you're underleveled to defeat Golyath you can just shoot him into the eye with your crossbow. He will die one-shot and you even get an archievement
