p.s. "A long trek requires a fellowship. oughta Cobble one together." Is a nice reference to the Lord of the Rings

Hello,
Please try verifying integrity of game cache,
1. Launch Steam client.
2. From the Library section, right-click on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and select Properties from the menu.
3. Select the "Local files" tab and click the "Verify integrity of game cache..." button.
4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
Once the files are verified load game save file made before this issue occurred.
Regards,
Paweł
I play the hell out of it untill I finish the game in fear that another bug might come along but nothing bad happened.
Hope this helps those in need like I was. I also wrote a thank you note to Pawel and team.
