I really don't know what they did in 1.07, they didin't fix major bugs.
So I did the quest to travel to Skellige for the first time. Soon as I found a travel marker in Skellige I went back to the cave hideout, talked to Roche again and now I got new dialog. After the cut scene we were teleported to the bridge as if I began the conversation on the bridge.
I should add the initial problem with the quest is he walks out of the cave to meet you at the bridge and gets stuck on a branch not far from the cave, which you have to bump him right before he gets stuck to make him go around. If you do that then he sloooowly walks to the bridge, and of course if you have not been to Skellige, he will walk back to the cave after he spends 2 seconds standing at the bridge....
I really cannot face starting over - if that's the case then sadly I'm done.
You only have 1 savegame.
At £50 I expected a pretty solid journey - I dont save every 5 minutes because I like the challenge and extra pressure. Surely some others feel the same?
Golden Rule of massive open world two hundred hour long RPG's:
Save. Save often. And use multiple files. I use 5-7 different slots and rotate them as needed. NEVER stick to one save...one slot.
