Garelt is quite a bit less broad in his turning movements and more directly pivotal. I like it over the standard one which I always found to be deeply frustrating when navigating small areas.

But they have also introduced view auto-center which is immensely annoying when using the mouse. I really hope they turn that off!

You can turn it off.
