1) Find your installation folder of Witcher 3 and go into the \bin\x64 folder.
2) Find the witcher3.exe file and right click it.
3) In the drop down menu click properties.
4) Select the pane called Compatibility and check ON the 'Run this program as an administrator'. Then hit apply.
5) Load up the game and try to save right after creating a new game.
Worst case scenario, if eisberg's fix doesn't work and you still can't save then at least you only have to re-do 3hours. You haven't even made it out of the tutorial at point.
There rules are they will issue no refund if you have played the game more than 2 hours. And I belive you have to request a refund within 1 week. Both those rules make complete sense.
Have you verified your files yet.
I have also have verified the files twice . nothing.
I am running low on C: space, but that's not the drive the game or Steam is saved to. Could that be causing this?
I understand why they do it, but a 2 hour warranty period on an easily 200+ hour game is kind of lame. Just my opinion.
Have you checked if there are saved files in your documents folder?
If yes, what date and time they are displaying?
Hitting F5 only shows an short "folder" icon when saving, and nothing more.
Thanks again everyone for the suggestions.
