If you give Geralt a Lightsaber
So this is another stupid verses topic anyway if you were to give Geralt of Rivia a Lightsaber do you think he could take on a Jedi or Sith? I mean He's pretty good with a sword and he has super human abbilities plus the Quen sign (that for the sake of the argument can deflect a light saber). He also uses a crossbow, unless I'm wrong if you try to deflect a bolt with a light saber wouldn't it just pass through as molten metal an hit you anyway? Maybe he couldn't kill Vader but perhaps Obiwan or someone?

Umm I'm going to say any Jedi or Sith would destroy him by simply using the Force in line with saber attacks. He would be done. He may be Superhuman but cmon..

Well at least he doesn't need two different swords. :D

Peasant: "Why does he carry only a sword hilt? He broke his sword?"

Jeez, didn't these kinds of threads die out a decade or more ago?

Guess not.

The only way a witcher would have even a small chance against a jedi/sith , is if the jedi/sith go trully easy on him.

Otherwise it would lose without even understanding wth happened.

Being a jedi/sith is much more than just having a flashy sword.

Dude that is like so not an even fight, Spiderman would get his @$$ kicked. A better match-up would be Goku and Superman.

Geralt would light a Jedi's ass on fire.

Considering a jedi/sith with the force is about as powerful as Vilgefortz. Geralt would probably get thrashed.

Well, if Geralt fought Darth Vader, All Vader needs to do is Force Choke and Geralt is helpless.
Jedi also have super human reflexes, their light sabers would disintegrate a bolt just like a door plus force push, jump, speed, (most important in this fight I think), and Pull too. if we go by traditional Jedi knight games, Force Protect, Heal, Absorb, and Mindtrick(Lets say Geralt is immune but he is somewhat human still)

I think Geralt would be Outmatched by an unarmed jedi if he had a lightsaber. But... Why would they even fight in the first place?

Now that people mentioned Witchers have lots of Jedi like skills.

Axis is definitedly as potent as the "jedi mind trick".

It wouldn't work on a jedi though. Also the force let's guides your moves so they are basically always the right moves. Also, a ligtsaber would melt a metal sword and any armor. I supposed quen "Might" protect Geralt for a while, but he wouldn't be able to land a hit.

I would imagine Geralt having problems with a weapon which is pretty much weightless, because he is used to the weight of his swords and all that

Uh... no.
