Why you looking for a CD Key anyways?
I don't beleive CDPR has plans for redeeming CD keys on GoG for Witcher 3. I'm not 100% on that but I'm pretty sure CDPR even said that prior to launch.
Perhaps they'll allow it in the future, not the near future though.
no i am saying that if you have the steam version of witcher 1 or witcher 2 and you copy the keys of those games on gog you get a free drm copy of witcher 1 or if you put witcher 2 key you get a free copy of 2 i was asking for witcher 3 key to try it aswell
I believe he means that you can redeem Witcher 1&2 keys on GoG. And was wondering if it's possible to do so on Witcher 3.
I didn't realise steam can distribute games that do not require steam to play, unless it uses Uplay or something.
You'd be surprised at how many games on steam are DRM free. http://steam.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_DRM-free_games Not sure when the last time that list was updated.
Yeah, currently anybody who owns Witcher 1 and or 2, they can get a backup from GoG.com, they just need to enter their CD key, even from Steam, to get that backup. But yeah, they have no plans of extending that backup program for Witcher 3.
