[QUEST BUG] Master of Arena stuck at "talk to villagers".

I beat the troll, got achievment but the quest still stuck at "talk to villagers" and "collect your cut".

I had this, but instead of "a few days" as stated in the quest description I was able to find them after finishing the main quest (which was weeks later in game clock.)

Do you meant that you was able to collect % after finishing the game? And you had both "wait" and "ask villagers" tasks active even though you became absolute champion before that?

I believe you just have to wait for a while, personally I meditated for a week and it wasn't enough, then eventually forgot about it

But you also had quest in "bugged" state there you've already purged the spirit and defeated the troll and it still wanted you to ask villagers for info?
Because right now I might try redo this quest and this will cost me about 20-30 mins, but If i keep playing and this quest would turn out to be eternally bugged that would be sad.

Have you tried meditating for like 3 days and get out of the area and then get back? Worked for me.

I've tried mediating for little more that a day. What do you mean about getting out of area? Getting to a totally different location (like novigrad or vellen) or just to different island worked fo you?

Try going to another village or an other isle and meditade a bit. If that doesn't work, go to Velen or whereever and go back to Skellige.

This also worked for me! Went to Velen for a few weeks, doing other quests (including meditating) and I came back to the two guys and they finally gave me my money. The quest completed.

I meditated in Hov for 3 days, didn't work. Then I moved to another island and right back with fast travel. Worked. No need to talk to any villagers.

I ran into the same problem; but then found info for the fix on Gosunoob's site.
