Mouse camera motion sucks!

The problem is that the game runs perfectly fine at 1440p ultra at 60fps and motion is silky smooth with a gamepad. However, I like using the kb+m for the extra shortcuts and the two extra quick item slots. When using the mouse to pan the camera, the motion is jaggy like 25fps.

I tried adjusting the mouse sensitivity under \The Witcher 3\bin\config\platform\pc\platformgameplay.ini to be under the 1.0 default value but to no avail. >:(

I tried turning v-sync on/off as well as hardware cursor. Nothing improved.

have you messed with synthetic timer. I play with kb&m in w3 and this is very unrelateable.

There is a possible solution posted in this forum about a month or so ago involving an odd mouse setting that I cannot remember what it is called, but works for many of us KBM players. Good luck!

EDIT: some say try running the game without overlay, in fact the game will run from the exe without any launcher (steam or gog) so try that. I always do this, but still had stutter when pan view, and the mouse fix worked for me but can't find thread for solution.

Thanks for the link. Yeah, I ran across this too prior to making my post. I tried it, but it wasn't as smooth as my controller. I eventually ditched kb+m and beat the game using a controller. First Witcher game that I beat using a controller after playing the first two exclusively on kb+m. I felt that this game played better using a kb+m. Likewise, I feel better playing the Souls games using a controller, the input option they were designed for. Alas, with W3 the camera panning while using the mouse was too jarring.

Had stuttering with my 780ti back on release... never experienced any issues when I upgraded to a 980ti or with my old 1080 at 1440p.
